Breyer Horses: 2004 Commemorative Edition Smart Little Lena
In 1983, Smart Little Lena became the second horse in history to win the National Cutting Horse Association’s Triple Crown (1982 NCHA Futurity Championship, 1983 NCHA Super Stakes, 1983 NCHA Derby). Today, he is one of only three horses to ever hold that title. He is also the second all-time leading money earner with career earnings in excess of $743,000 – after only eight times in the show ring.
Smart Little Lena was raised and owned by Hanes Chatham, trained and shown by Bill Freeman, and is now owned by the Smart Little Lena Syndicate. He stands at the Tommy Marion Ranch in Aubrey, Texas where he is happy to welcome visitors. Horse measures approximately 12 inches long and comes with calf.
